E~because women make up 50% of the population then that means 50% of congress should be women so there is an identical percentage
E~no women has ever been the president and only 30% of congress is women, 20% lower than it should be

E~significantly fewer non white politicians than there should be
E~only 60% of population is white but 80% of congress is white and theres only ever been 1 non white president (Barack Obama)
More likely to participate~older workers
E~ older people bought houses when they were younger for cheaper and now have more money to lose if taxes get raised so they vote to stop this happening
E~in 2008 the voter turnout for 45-59 was 70%
More likely to participate~ white people
E~wealthier and higher levels of education so they know how to vote and who they are going to vote for
E~ whites have always had the highest turnout with 65-70% except 2008 and 2012 when Obama was elected
Less likely to participate- young people
E~ young people do not feel their issues have been dealt with and cannot relate to any politician and there is nothing relevant to them
E~ for the past 16 years 18-29 year olds have had the lowest voter turnout
Less likely to participate~African Americans
E~ in the past they have been denied the right to vote and mistreated by this system
E~ voter turnout has always been lower than whites apart from 2008 and 2012 where Obama was elected

Causes~ healthcare treated like a business in America
Example~ health insurance expensive and fine if you do not buy it
Govt response~ Obama care
Examples~ if you do not buy Obama care which is cheap health insurance you get fined $25 a year but doubles
+ affordable health care

Causes~ not enough funding to schools with African American majority
Example- not enough funds
Govt funds~ more funding
+ better education
groups more likely to experience inequality- ethnic minorities

because of racism and given less opportunities as employer maybe racist and disregard them as potential worker
E- black people have a higher unemployment rate then white americans
groups more likely to experience inequality- women
E- employers think they are incapable
E- poverty rate is 3% higher in women than men
political influence- make countries consider US veto
E- countries try to please the US so they do not use VETO on them
E- US uses VETO to protect countries like israel
political influences- issue sanctions
E- they can issue a sanction which is a punishment for another country like restrict travel between the countries or money restrictions
E-US encouraged places like UK and germany to sanction north korea and russia
military influence- avoid USA because too strong
E- US have advanced military like stealth planes other countries are scared of them so try not to go to war
