What is the federal system?
A
All individual states look after their own affairs. Issues which concern all states are dealt with by congress (parliament)

What is a constitution?
A
A rule book which lays out how the government is meant to operate and what it’s allowed to do

When is a new President elected?
A
Every four years- the President is the most important politician in the USA

What is the Supreme Court?
A
It’s made up of judges whose main task is to make sure that American governments do not misuse their power of pass unfair laws
