Q

Sympathetic innervation - ?
Parasympathetic innervation - ?
Somatic innervation - ?

A

Sympathetic - hypogastric nerve (beta terminate in the detrusor and stimulation causes relaxation and bladder filling; alpha innervates the smooth muscle of the urethra and trigone – contraction when stimulation (internal sphincter))
Parasympathetic - Pelvic nerve - stimualation leads to detrusor contration (P = pee = parasympathetic = pelvic)
Somatic - Pudendal - stimulation causes external uretral sphincter contraction
