rhubarb (huge quantity), excessive sorbitol consumption; antidepressants; melannin pigment from melanoma (rare)
Low pH (<6)
high protein diet, cranberry juice; uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
High pH (>8)
diet rich in vegetables, dairy products; severe anemia
