  • Predominant symptom (nasal congestion/rhinorrhea, purulent nasal discharge with facial pain/tenderness, sore throat, cough w or wo sputum, sore throat or ear pain)
  • Constitutional symptoms
  • Symptoms of potential pneumonia
  • Hx of or symptoms of serious cardiopulmonary disease (e.g., asthma, COPD, CHF) that may alter treatment plan
