• No travel into the CBD.
• Less traffic congestion.
• Close to M8.
• Reduces traffic congestion in city.
• Easy to expand.
• Lots of space for car parking.
• Pleasant environment.
• Provides jobs away from CBD.

• Uses up the green belt land.
• Takes customers away from the CBD so shops there may close down which leads to unemployment.

• Quieter and more attractive environment.

• Traffic lights slowing cars down.
• Pedestrian crossings slowing cars down.

• Ring roads going around the CBD to avoid rush hour traffic.
• Gap sites, unused railway land and old bus garages being used as car parks.
• Traffic meters and traffic wardens to control kerbside parking.
• Improving rail services into the CBD to encourage more people to take the train rather than driving.
• One way streets for traffic to flow freely and faster.
