The countryside, including rural settlements such as villages.

The process of an increasing proportion of people living in cities. (More people living in cities)
Define megacity.
A city with of a population of more than 10 million.
Define slum conditions.
An area of low quality housing, often extremely densely populated, and with inadequate services.
Where is Glasgow?
A city on the east coast of Scotland.
What are tenements?
A 3-4 storey building that housed the poorest workers in Glasgow between 1840 & 1940.
What are tall flats?
A Glasgow word term for the 15+ storey flats built to replace the tenements.
Define qualitative source.
Information in the form of words or images.
Define quantitative.
Information in the form data, statistics, graphs or maps.
