Causative agents of URTI

A
  • Coryza: rhinovirus, coronavirus, RSV
  • Pharyngitis: adenovirus, enterovirus, rhinovirus, group A B-haem (older child)
  • Tonsilitis: Epstein-Barr virus, group A B-haem
  • Otitis media: RSV, rhinovirus, pneumococcus, H. influenzae and moraxella catarrhalis
