16
Q

How do you assess Upper Limb Tone?

A

By performing passive movements supporting the elbow.
Ask patient to go floppy
Check for rotation at the shoulder
Flex and extend the arm at the elbow and wrist
Pronate and supinate the wrist

17
Q

What does it mean if there is increased tone?

A

It indicates UMN

18
Q

What does reduced tone indicate?

19
Q

What is step 14 and what is the scoring system?

A

Assessing POWER against resistance

MRC score 0-5
