Phishing is when you get urgent sounding email or sms text saying its from your bank or a family member asking you for persanel infomation.

Keylogging, or a keylogger, refers to a type of surveillance software or hardware designed to record the keystrokes (or typing actions) made on a keyboard.

bandwith is the anount of data that can be moved at the one time. More bandwith = more data per second.
what is buffring
Buffering refers to the process of temporarily storing data in a buffer (a small portion of memory) while it is being transferred between two locations, typically when streaming or downloading content like videos, audio, or even online games.
what is the internet
The Internet is a global network of interconnected computers and servers that allows devices to communicate with each other and share information. It enables access to a vast array of resources, services, and information across the world through the use of various protocols and technologies.

A router is a device that directs data traffic between different networks, typically between your home or office network (such as Wi-Fi) and the Internet.
what is a server
A server is a powerful computer which provides services. There are many different types of server, for example, a file server which stores files (i.e. text, images, sound, or video) that can be accessed by all devices on the network.
what is a computer network
A computer network is when to or more computers are conected together to alow them to comunicate
what is a network cable
Used to connect together different devices. They have plastic plugs that connect into sockets on devices. The cable is made up of a number of copper wires. Data can be sent in both directions across a cable.
what is a hub
A hub connects a number of computers together. Ports allow cables to be plugged in from each connected computer.
what is a wird conection
Wired networks send data along ethernet cables. (See the PPT for the advantages and disadvantages of wired networks)
what is a non wird conection
Wireless networks send data through the air using radio waves. E.g. Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G and 5G. (See the PPT for the advantages and disadvantages of wireless networks)
Computer Virus
A computer virus is a type of malicious software, or malware, that spreads between computers and causes damage to data and software.
