Moses, who is he?
He is a prophet who delivered the isrealites out of Egypt and into the promised land.
What are the ten commandments? Who delivered them?
The ten commandments are the laws for the people to live by. Moses delivered them on the top of Mount Sinai.
Prophets, Who were they? What did they do?
The prophets were the messengers of God
They served as spokespeople, and communicated God’s will to the people.
What is a covenant?
A covenant is an agreement between two people. It involves promises to one another.
The beatiudes, what are they?
The beatiudes are a set of blessings that Jesus taught in the sermon oh the mount.
What is the symbol of Noah’s covenant?
A rainbow.
What is the symbol of Abraham’s covenant?
Circumsion.
What is the symbol of the irsealties covenant?
The ten commandments.
What is the symbol for king David’s covenant?
A crown/throne
What is the symbol for Jesus’s covenant?
The cross.
A beatitude:
A blessing or promise of true happiness.
The seven heavenly virtues
Faith, hope, love, prudence, justice, fortitude, temperance.
The Paschal mystery
Through Jesus’s sacrifice salvation is fully accomplished and universal, for all people, and all time.
