What is a miracle?
An event that goes against the laws of nature.

There are 2 types of miracles.

Healing- God’s power over the sick
Nature miracles- God’s power over nature
What is considered a natural miracle?
Anything that isn’t a healing miracle is a nature miracle (healing miracles are considered some one or something getting heal un-naturally)

In the evening, the weather was horrid, with strong winds and MASSIVE waves. Nevertheless, jesus and his disciples took a boat to the other side of Galilee lake. Whilst Jesus was asleep, the boat rocked vigorously, threatening to drown them. The disciples called out, ‘Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?’. Then Jesus got up and commanded to be quiet, and then the storm passed

5000 jews were starving, with nothing to eat except 1 small basket of fish and bread. So Jesus took it, gave thanks to God, and started passing out baskets. With over 12 baskets of leftovers, Jesus fed all the people

What happened at the wedding at Cana?
Jesus, his mother, and disciples visited a wedding. All was good until all the wine ran out. His mother quickly told the servants to obey the orders of Jesus. He commanded there to be 100 litres of water filled in a jar. Then he told the servants to take some water out and give it to the man in charge of the feast. He tried it, and it was wine.
How was illness/impairment explained in the times of Jesus?
God was punishing for the past sins and parental sins
In the story of Jesus healing the paralysed man, why does he say his sins are forgiven?
Back in Jesus’ time, it was believed illnesses were caused by parental sin or your own sins
