I was called to a council and defended the Church where afterwards I was welcomed back by my people.

joined the Roman army 2 assist martyrs w/o arousing suspicion. I was then brought before emperor diocletian and was shot full of arrows & survived. I later accosted diocletian and his cruelty to christians, after which I was sentenced to death. patron saint of athletes.
