The political theory of using devolution and giving more power back towards the states.
New Federalism
a legality that allows a higher level of government to limit, or eliminate the power of lower governments to regulate an issue. This utilizes the supremacy clause.
Preemption
a person who supports power underneath a central, single power
Centralist
a theory that supports power allocated at the more local level, not in a central level of gov.
Decentralist
the division and sharing of power between national and state governments.
Federalism
