Q

The Cell Theory states…

A
  1. All living things are made up of one or more cells.

Q

What is endocytosis?

A

when molecules are too large to pass across the cell membrane they have another option. To use vesicles saca that surround the large particles and contain it. A vesicle forms around the particle and the cell membrane pinches off around it so that the vesicle is inside the cell.

Q

What is exocytosis?

A

A vesicle surrounds the particle, then moves to the plasma membrane and fuses with it. The vesicle then ruptures.
