- quadrilateral
- 2 pairs of congruent adjacent sides
- no opposite sides congruent
Trapezoid
- quadrilateral
- 1 pair of parallel sides (bases)
Isosceles Trapezoid
- trapezoid
- opposite sides that are not parallel are congruent
Parallelogram
- quadrilateral
- both pairs of opposite sides are parallel

Square
- parallelogram
- opposite sides are parallel
- four congruent sides
- four right angles
Consecutive Angles
Same side interior angles
Transversal Theorem
If 3 or more parallel lines cut of congruent segments on 1 transversal, then they cut of congruent segments on every transversal.
Rectangle Theorem
The diagonals of a rectangle are congruent
Trapezoid Theorem
- The base angles of a trapezoid are congruent
Isosceles Theorem
- The diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid are congruent.
Kite Theorem
The diagonals of a kite are perpendicular
Rhombus Theorems - 2
- Each diagonal of a rhombus bisects 2 angles of the rhombus
- The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular
Converse of Rhombus Theorem - 2
- If one diagonal of a parallelogram bisects 2 angles of the parallelogram, them the parallelogram is a rhombus
- If the diagonals of the parallelogram are perpendicular, then the parallelogram is a rhombus.
Converse of Parallelogram Theorem - 4
- If both pairs of opposite sides of a quadrilateral are congruent, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram
- If both pairs of opposite angles of a quadrilateral are congruent, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram
- If the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram
- If one pair of opposite sides of a quadrilateral is both congruent and parallel, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram.
Parallelogram Theorems - 3
- Opposite sides are congruent
- Opposite angles are congruent
- The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other
Converse of Rectangle Theorem
- If the diagonals of a parallelogram are congruent, then the parallelogram is a rectangle
