Where did the Aztecs live?
They lived in Tenochtitlan which is in Northern Mexico.
What surrounded the Aztecs?
Mountains.
What were mountains like for the Aztecs?
Mountains were like walls to a fort they gave them safety and protection.
What was Tenochtitlan surrounded by?
Lots of water.
Why did the Aztecs sacrifice people?
Because it was deeply religious and they thought it was the only way to go to heaven, and the gods would die and get sick without blood.
Who was the tribal god of the Aztecs?
Huitzilopochtli
What were the two main classes of the Aztec social hierarchy?
Nobles and Commoners.

It was highly valued and was free for everyone.

Self sacrifice, courage, obedience, modesty, and clean living.
What was the Reconquista?
Was when the Christians started moving south and took back their land from the Muslim empire.
How were the Christians planning on making a Christian Spain?
to kick out all Jews and Muslims unless they changed religions.
