Biotic factors
The living parts of an ecosystem
Abiotic factors
The nonliving parts of the ecosystem.
Species
a group of animals, plants or other living things that share common characteristics and are able to reproduce.
population
- a group of organisms of the same species that live in a particular area.
Community
all the populations of different species that live and interact in the same place form a community.
Symbiotic relationships
A relationship between different species which benefits either or both species.
Commensalism
One species receives the benefit the other is unaffected
mutualism
Both species benefit.
parasitism
One species benefits while one is harmed

when an animal has adapted to the place they live in
