ecosystem
Any place or location where living and nonliving things interact.
Biotic factors
The living parts of an ecosystem.
Abiotic factors
The nonliving parts of the ecosystem.
species
a group of animals, plants or other living things that share common characteristics and are able to reproduce.
population
a group of organisms of the same species that live in a particular area.
community
all the populations of different species that live and interact in the same place form a community.
Symbiotic relationships{symbiosis}
A relationship between different species which benefits either or both species.
commenalism
One species receives the benefit the other is unafected
parasitism
One species benefits while one is harmed
mutualism
Both species benefit.

Adaptation
Some individuals of a species survive quite well in an ecosystem while others do not.
sustainability
means to use our natural resources slowly so they can be renewed faster than we use them.
