they used large wagons on the oregen trail to get to the pacific NW, californis trail was also travled using the large wagons by people during the gold rush, mormon trail was used to gain religious freedom and mormons traveled with hand carts or wagons
How did the transcontinental railroad change migration west?
once we aquired the gadsden purchase and completed the transcontinental railroad, that made it easier to move west and trade goods across the country.
