Direct democracy
Citizens vote for representatives who then vote on the laws.
Representative Democracy
He was an Athenian scholar, teacher and a philosopher who encouraged questioning of traditional values, art, gov., etc.

Alexander the Great
City-state in Greece on the Attica Peninsula; known for their wisdom and new ideas
Athens
City-state in Greece on the Peloponnesus Peninsula; known for their military and strength
