AC Joint (Acromioclavicular Joint)
The joint formed by the acromion of the scapula and the clavicle
AC Separation
A traumatic sprain caused by the AC joint, usually caused by a direct blow to the shoulder
Acromion Process
A lateral triangular projection of the spine of the scapula that forms the point of the shoulder and articulates with the clavicle
Brachial Plexus
A group of peripheral nerves that leave the spinal cord and extend from the vertebrae into the shoulder
Biceps Tendon
A tissue that connects the biceps muscle to the shoulder girdle
Head of the Humerus
