Philosophy
The study of the basic ideas about knowledge, truth, right and wrong, religion, and the nature and meaning of life.
Confucianism
Believes that a good society is based on the moral behavior of individuals as well as correct relationships between different members of society.
Legalism
Believed people were born bad and a strong leader and a strong legal system are needed to create social order.
Civil Service
The permanent professional branches of a government’s administration, excluding military and judicial branches and elected politicians.
Natural Barrier
A physical feature that can hinder or protect travel (mountains, deserts, swamps, seas, etc.)
Silk Road
Was a nickname for any route that any trader took from China to Rome.
