Adaptation
to get comfortable with a environment that you aren’t use to
When i moved to chicago i had to adapt to the cold.
Dichotomous key
a tool to look at the characteristics about a living thing / species
I used a dichotomous key to spectate this animal.
Natural selection
a living thing who just naturally adapts to its environment
When i got my new dog and brought him home he quickly felt comfortable.
Population
the amount of living things that live in the same area / space at the same time
There is a large populations in Austin, Texas.
Selective breeding
choosing where your species are bred and where they live / environment
My grandparents decide to have selective breeding with there kids.
Species
a living thing
Look at this new specie, it looks so cool !
Hibernation
to hide / sleep all winter season
Brown bears hibernate during the winter.
Migration
animals moving to different spots seasonal
Birds migrate .
Dormancy
when someone just out of no where lie ghosts or just stops being active
Out of no where they just went dormancy.
Mimicry
a specie looking exactly like another specie
Both of my dogs show mimicry.
Camouflage
to blend in
Some animals can camouflage.
