What is MDS a challenge to?

A

MDS is a challenge to the theology and ethics of the SDA community.

SDA hold the belief that humanity was created in the image of God, therefore every person has inherent equality and should be treated with dignity.

In order to maintain identity and integrity of the SDA church, the denomination is compelled to respond in a way that reflects the authenticity of the church.

Freedom is recognised by the SDA that God has given humanity free will. Denial of this right is an unethical, moral issue that challenges the ethical teachings of SDA church
