The Spanish wanted to colonize while the Anglo came for cheap land. Also, the Painsh would use force if necessary, but the Anglo bought the land.

There were many crimes happening as there was no government as well as fugitives running to that land to seek shelter. Humans can use artificial selection to get faster horses, therefore over time, race horses got faster.
