A

S - cramps, bloating, constipation

C - no known cause but poor mental health, genes and change in gut bacteria may trigger it

What are the symptoms and causes of Coeliac disease?

A

S - abdominal pain, malnutrition, bloating
C - genes (potentially) causes antibodies to attack gluten in the s. intestines, makes absorption difficult and villi inflamed - destroys intestinal lining

What are the symptoms and causes of gallstones?

A

S - abdominal pain, inflammation, jaundice

C - imbalance of cholesterol in bile causes it to crystallise and forms solid waste, blocks gallbladder and bile duct
