-each one can contain texts, numbers, images, or formulas
Cell
Parts of an Excel Document:
- shows the number in a row of the currently selected cell
-these numbers are
arranged in numeric order
Row Number
Parts of an Excel Document:
-shows the letter in a column of the currently selected cell
- are in alphabetical order from A-Z, and will have a combination afterwards such as AA, AB, AC,
and so on
Column Letter

-shows the cell currently selected if you are selecting only one cell
Name Box
Parts of an Excel Document:
-is the long rectangle beside the name box where you can input your formulas for your data
-can also use this to input a value in a cell

-is found on the top of the grid in Excel

-allows you to access frequently used tools such as save, undo, and
redo
