What are 4 things you must have to be eligible to vote?
- be 18 years old
- be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago
- be a Commonwealth citizen who has lived in Trinidad and Tobago for at least one year
- have lived in your constituency (election district) for at least two months.
How often do general elections occur?
every 5 years
how often do local government elections occur?
every 3 years
How often do we elect for the tobago house of assembly?
every 4 years
