God-given
At conception or at some later stage, God gives each person a conscience to be able to morally decide between right and wrong.
Authority figures
Conscience is the product of all the authority figures around us including parents, teachers, strong characters in peer group, ministers of religion etc.
Society
Conscience is the product of society’s expectations. The person’s conscience reflects the values and rules of society.
Innate within Us
Conscience is not dependent on Culture, Environment, or Education but is part of the person when created or how the brain is wired.
Parents
Conscience is the product of its parents. Most decisions that are morally decided are influenced from the teachings in the early years of your life.
