What is the discourse about?
Tas gov (Hydro) wanted to build a dam on the franklin river for hydro-electricity however the wilderness society want it to be left alone for future generations

Methods are used by interest groups to influence gov bodies whom implement processes (these are legal steps)
Positive of hydro electric project
- Cheaper electricity
- Creates Jobs
- Dam was worthless therefore was a great resource
Negatives of hydro electric project
- Cannot be reversed
- Apart of the world heritage list
- Only creates 32 ongoing jobs
- No shortage of electricity in the first place
- Doesn’t protect the environment
