Explain leadership.
Leadership = the ability to influence or motivate people to work towards the achievement of business objectives.
→ Context of change: In the context of change management, leadership refers to the action of positively influencing and motivating individuals to set and achieve objectives during the transformation of the business.
“I quite like this” = A leader can bridge the gap between the situation now and the future position by listening, showing empathy, setting high expectations, showing support and developing trust.

Explain preparation and planning.
Prepare for change by developing a plan of action, a business case, and a clear vision. Decision-making is crucial, as insufficient preparation can lead to negative consequences.
Explain communication.
Prioritize clear communication, involving all stakeholders in the vision for change, fostering buy-in, and utilizing empathy to identify and address resistance to change.
Explain support.
Provides support to employees, including counselling, training, and mentoring, to help them cope with change, preparing them to accept the risks involved.
Explain collaboration.
Form a team to facilitate change, delegate tasks, and create opportunities for employees to feel ownership and participate in the process.
Explain accountability.
Fosters trust, integrity, and commitment among employees, while avoiding mistrust and confusion. It also encourages problem-solving and business success.
