Q

How do continental to continental happen?

A
  • When two plates of continental crust collide
  • they buckle and thickens
  • it forms mountains

Q

How do continental to oceanic happen?

A

Occurs when a continental plate collide with an oceanic plate
- the ocean crust is more thick and subducts (or goes underneath).
-the continental crust the magma from the melted oceanic crust rises to the surface
- formed volcanoes.
