What is Salvation History?
The pattern of specific events in human history in which God clearly reveals his presence and saving actions
Who was Salvation accomplished with?
Jesus Christ

Proclaimed jesus from the rooftops of the world
What is the deposit of Faith?
The heritage of faith contained in the sacred scriptures and sacred tradition
What is necessary to salvation?
Faith
What is sin?
The utterance, deed, or desire contrary to God’s laws
What caused original sin?
Adam and Eve giving into temptation from satan
What does Genesis mean?
The beginning
What are 3 things we lean from Genesis 1-2?
If we disrespect gods creation we disrespect him; we were made in God’s image; all creations are from God and tell us about him
Who was involved in Genesis 1?
God
Who was involved in Genesis 2?
God, Adam, Eve, and Satan (snake)
What is venial sin?
Less serious than mortal sin and can be fixed through acts of love
What is mortal sin?
serious offenses against god- hinders ones potential for love and eternal life
What is Salvation?
Gods forgiveness and deliverance from sin and its consequences
