A compound consisting of only hydrogen and carbon
Single bond between carbons=Alkane
Double bond= Alkene

A
A portion of a molecule that is a recognizable/ classified group of bound atoms
It gives the molecule its properties, regardless of what molecule contains it.

Isomers
A
is a molecule with the same molecular formula as another molecule, but with a different chemical structure. That is, isomers contain the same number of atoms of each element, but have different arrangements of their atoms.
