The release from the circle of reincarnation
Mahayana Buddhism
Ancient type of Buddhism where followers devote themselves to Buddha (like a god) and follow a code of ethics (easier)
Later merged with Hinduism and Buddha became a Hindu god
Theravada Buddhisim
Type of Buddhism where followers abide by the Buddha’s teaching and devote time and effort to reach Nirvana. (harder)
