Different kinds of Christ-Like love

- Eros (Romantic Love): Passionate love that is often expressed within marriages

What is the catechism of the Catholic Church

Moral decision vs. Everyday decision
- Moral Decision: Involves ethical considerations and has a significant impact on the well being of oneself or others
- Everyday Decision: Routine choices with minimal ethical implications (eg. deciding what to eat for breakfast)
Sin and Original sin
- Sin: An act against God’s will that harms our relationship with him and others
- Original Sin: The fallen state of human nature inherited from Adam and Eve
2 main types of sin
- Mortal sin: Grave act that sever our relationship with God
- Venial sin: Less severe act that weaken our relationship with God but don’t sever it
7 deadly sins

What is reconciliation
Reconciliation refers to the restoration of a relationship between individuals and God, as well as between individuals themselves.
This concept emphasizes forgiveness, repentance, and the healing of broken relationships.
2 elements for reconciliation
- Contrition: Sincere remorse for sins
- Confession: Admitting sins to a priest
What are the 3 C’s of Conversion
- Contrition: Feeling genuine sorrow for sins
- Confession: Admitting sins and seeking forgiveness
- Correction: Making amends and changing behaviour.
What is the 4th commandment? According to this commandment what type of people should we obey
“Honour your father and your mother” This commandment calls for respect and obedience to parents and authorities
What is the common good?
Promoting the well-being of all members of society. If authority neglects the common good, individuals should advocate for change
