how do you factor a perfect cube trinomial?
SOAP
a³ + b³ = (a + b)(a² - ab + b²)
a³ - b³ = (a - b)(a² + ab + b²)
General equation for projectile motion
h = 1/2 gt² + vt + s
v = initial velocity
s = initial height
g = gravity (sometimes it’s given to you as -16 but that is imperial not metric)
h = height after t seconds
If it gives you a polynomial just use logic
if you get 3 points to make into a polynomial, what do you do?
1) convert all into f(x) = a²x + bx + c
2) use 2 of them to find c
3) plug c in and use the next one to find b
4) find a
5) plug them all in
