Apartheid means “apartness” and was created in the 1950s to segregate populations in South Africa by creating a set of laws that ensured white population kept political and economic control

Europeans during the period of the scramble for Africa created racial differences between two cultures by empowering one over the other leading to jealousy and the mass genocide of one group
What was the Berlin Conference?
A conference held by European Countries to decide which nation had control over which area in Africa
