Describe the sun dance
The sun dance is a ritual proformed by the lakota and of abroginal tribes to prepare for the great annual buffalo hunt, and to celebrate the new year. It happens in late fall or earily summer. The ritual proves bravery by overcoming pain. The major part of the sun dance is the making of the lodge where the dance is held, they would cut down a cotton tree in a sacred way, and put in in the middle of the dancing area, Axis mundi

Describe the ghost dance
The ghost dance is a ritual to forget about the white mans rule, and to pray that the buffalo would return. It was also the time to pray for the dead loved ones, it was the time where the living and the dead would merge. first they must purifly themselves so no achoal or volance, after they would put on shirts which was said to be stronger than the white mans bullet, and joined hands in a huge circle, and danced around.

The Aboriginal people who survied residental schools were taought to be ashamed of there culture. so when all of the resdental schools closed, a lot of the surivers did not pass down there knowledge of their culture, so the next generation does not know their identity.
How are the Lakota and other Aboriginal groups healing.
The Lakota and other Aboriginal groups healing, by teachers coming to the Resercve and helping out with counculling, and helping the community. They started a youth program which kids go out and learn about horses, how to ride them and lasso them. The elders teach others about their culture, and ways of living.
How was Cortez able to deafeat montazuma and the aztecs?
