Test for relevance

A
  • C – currency (When was the information published)
  • R – relevance (Does the information relate to your topic or answer your question)
  • A - authority (is the author accredited? Use academic resources or fact sheets from accredited sources)
  • A – accuracy (Is the information supported by evidence? Is it valid? Do not use blogs as sources)
  • P – purpose (What is the purpose of the information? to inform? teach? sell? entertain? persuade?)
