Who won the French and Indian War? What did that mean for the colonists?
The British won the French and Indian War. This meant that the British had many territorial gains. However, they were in debt to the colonists.
What was Britain’s response to being in debt?
They imposed taxes such as tea, sugar, and stamp taxes.
What was the colonists’ response to the taxes?
The colonists protested against Great Britain.
What were the three purposes of the declaration of independence?
Life, liberty and the pursue of happiness.
What was the decision Native Americans and enslaved African Americans had to make during the war?
They would either be loyal to their lands or masters or they would fight along with the British or Continental armies.
How did the Federalists get the Anti-Federalists to ratify the constitution?
They promised a Bill of Rights if the Anti-Federalists would vote for the constitution.
