What is the process of fertilization
During sex sperm is released into the vagina, sperm travels through the vaginal canal up to the cervix, once it is past the cervix it travels through the uterus up to the fallopian tube where it meets the egg if the eye gets fertilized it will then implant itself in the wall of the uterus
What and when is the germinal stage and when does it occur
Germinal stage or blastocyst occurs day 5 to 14 after the egg is fertilized

Embryonic stage is after implantation when all the major organs start to form and it occurs within the first 2 to 8 weeks

The foetal stage is when the babies growing and it happened between 8 to 40 weeks
