Unit 2 Flashcards
Components of cell theory
All known living things are made up of one or more cells.
All living cells arise from pre-existing cells by division.
The cell is the fundamental unit of structure and function in all living organisms.
The activity of an organism depends on the total activity of independent cells.
Cell Membrane
found in all cells and separates the interior of the cell from the outside environment
What types of cells are there?
Plant, animal, bacteria
What organisms are inside the animal cell?
Nucleus, nucleos, cell membrane, vacualoe, golgi apparatus, rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, cystoplasm, lysosome, mitochondria
Organisms inside the plant cell
a cell wall, cell membrane, a nucleus, smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, ribosomes, plastids, mitochondria, vacuoles
