Kinematics
The study of motion
The 6 forces
Applied force
Tension
Normal force
Friction
Air resistance
Force of gravity
Newton’s first law
If the net external force is zero the object will remain at rest or continue to move at constant velocity
Newton’s second law
If the net external force on an object is not zero the object will accelerate in the direction of the net force
Fnet = ma
Newton’s third law
For ever action force there is a simultaneous reaction force that is equal in magnitude but opposite in direction
Universal grativitation equation
Fg = Gm1m2 /r^2
G = 6.67 x 10^ -11
