A
- Too big of a government (physically too large) - too many agencies, departments, and bureaus & too expensive
- Grew the scope too much - the government was too involved in our lives
- Government too involved in morality
- Didn’t like the default response to look for the govt for solutions

A
Vietnam war was started by Johnson, we are losing the war, public support for the war was at a all time low.
