note* In everyday English, people usually say be short for instead of be the abbreviation of/for:

(n) a moral rule or standard of good behaviour:

eg. Keep this lists of numbers near the phone for easy reference.
discriminatory
(adj) treating a person or group differently from and usually worse than other people, because of their skin colour, sex, sexuality, etc.:
eg. He argued that the justice system is discriminatory.
