Reference map
A map that shows general info, direction and locations.
Thematic map
Info on an area specified on a theme or data or spatial patterns.
Absolute distance
A measure of distance that can counted using standard units of measurements
Absolute direction
The exact directions using North, South, West, and East
Relative distance
A measure of distance that can’t be counted with the standard measure of unit
Relative direction
Imprecise terms that describe directions
Clustering
A small area where everything is grouped together.
Distribution
The spacing between objects and items in a location

The altitude from sea level

The process in which the curved, sphere, like Earth is placed on a 2d flat surface.

Relative location
Identifying a location by specifying relations with other locations.
GIS
A computer system that uses multiple data sets to creates layers of data on a map.
GPS
A satellite sends data where a geographic location is.
