  1. Mercator Projection - gives true compass bearings between points. greatly distorts the size of land size masses.
  2. Equal Area Projection - shows the correct size of countries in relation to one another. country shapes are stretched.
  3. Winkle Triple Projection - provides best balance between sizes, distance, and Direction. compromise between all types of distortions.
