a legal and constitutional concept that requires Canadian public institutions to adapt to the religious and cultural practices of minorities as long as those practices do not violate other rights and freedoms

those who believe that Quebec is a sovereign nation that should be politically independent from Canada

those who believe that Quebec should remain part of the Canadian confederation

an act of resolving differences and repairing relationships.
